All Neo Dyn switches feature a negative rate Belleville spring snap acting device which offers greater set point stability, vibration resistance, over-pressure capability and cycle life. NEMA 4 and 13 designations represent weather-proof switch construction and NEMA 7 and 9 represent explosion-proof hermetically-sealed designs.

Switch Capabilities


Neo-Dyn switch types are categorized as follows:

Absolute Pressure

Pressure Switch - The pressure being sensed is referenced to a near-perfect vacuum within a sealed reference chamber.
Differential Pressure

Pressure Switch Actuates when pressure to the "high" port exceeds the pressure to the "low" port by a predetermined value.
Flow

Senses differential pressure generated by flow through through a venturi to actuate an electrical switch at a predetermined flow level.
Gage Pressure

Gage Pressure Compares pressure being sensed to atmospheric pressure. Positive pressure switches sense monitored pressure above atmospheric while vacuum switches sense pressure below atmospheric.
Temperature

Same as pressure switch with the addition of a fluid vapor charged sensing probe. This probe is exposed to the "basic sensor" to establish reference with pressure variation due to temperature change.
Vacuum

Gage Pressure Compares pressure being sensed to atmospheric pressure. Positive pressure switches sense monitored pressure above atmospheric while vacuum switches sense pressure below atmospheric.

1193P Miniature Absolute Pressure Switch. Set point, 5 to 105 psig; Deadband, 3.5 psi or 15%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 300 psia. Electrical, 1 amp, 28 VDC. - This hermetically sealed switch with welded stainless steel construction insures absolute setting integrity.

1194P Absolute Pressure Switch. Set point 0.5" to 70" HgA; Deadband; 1.5" Hg minimum. Proof pressure, up to 50 psig. - This aneroid capsule type pressure switch is suitable for altitude sensing applications from 0 to 100,000 ft.

1153P Miniature Differential Pressure Switch. Set point, 5 to 105 psid. Deadband, 3.5 psi or 15%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 300 psig hi over lo simultaneous. - This switch has welded stainless steel construction and is designed for the most hostile vibration, shock, and temperature conditions.

1156P Miniature Differential Pressure Switch. Set point, 7 to 280 psid. Deadband, 5 psi or 10%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 3000 psig. - This switch has compact aluminum construction for pneumatic, fuel and moderate hydraulic applications and to insure vibration, shock & surge resistance.

1163P Differential Pressure Switch. Set point, 3 to 70 psid. Deadband, 2 psi or 15%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 350 psig. - This hermetically sealed switch with a stainless steel electrical enclosure assures stable set points over varying system pressures. It is suitable for air, oil and fuel applications.

1164P Differential Pressure Switch. Set point, from 5" to 100" H2O Differential. Deadband, 3" H2O or 15%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 150 psig. - This switch is designed for water column differential setting capability with stability over varying system conditions. It is suited for air, oil and fuel applications.

1166P Differential Pressure Switch. Set point, from 1" to 100" H2O. Deadband, 10" H2O or 8%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 100 psig. - This switch is designed for low water column setting and narrow deadband capability for gage, differential, or vacuum applications with stable set points over varying system conditions. It is suitable for airspeed, duct flow and fluids.

1115P Pressure Switch. Set point, 2 to 70 psig. Deadband, .5 psi or 8%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 1000 psig. - This vented gage switch is designed for low setting and narrow deadband capability. It is ideally suited for air, oil and fuel applications.

1125P Pressure Switch. Set point, 40 to 3000 psig. Deadband, 5 psi or 8%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 7500 psig. - This vented gage mid range pressure switch is designed for narrow deadband high pressure pneumatic applications.

1144P Compact Pressure Switch. Set point, from 5" to 100" H2O. Deadband, 3" H2O or 15%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 100 psig. - This vented gage switch is designed for water column setting capability. Its negative rate Belleville disc sensing mechanism offers good set point stability for air, oil and fuel applications.

Proof pressure, up to 4500 psig. - This piston sensor design specially serves hydraulic applications with million-PSI/sec. rise rate reqts. Its durable aluminum construction offers excellent vibration, shock and serge resistance.

Proof pressure, up to 4500 psig. - This switch is a piston sensor design with compact aluminium construction for vibration, shock & surge resistance. Especially suitable for hydraulic applications requiring million-PSI rise rates per second.

1225P Compact Pressure Switch. Set point, 50 to 7500 psig. Deadband, 30 psi or 10%, whichever is greater, to 45% of the set point. Proof pressure, up to 15000 psig. - This piston sensor design specially serves mid-to-high range hydraulic applications. Its refined short stroke piston and low friction seal insures extensive cycle life.

Proof pressure, up to 1500 psig. - This normally closed air valve with welded stainless steel construction features a saturated vapor thermal system.

1173T Miniature Temperature Switch. Set Point, -40°F to +550°F. Calibration Tolerance, ± 10°F. Deadband, from 7°F minimum.
