Motor operated and manual valves for aircraft systems: - to meet the requirements of MIL-V8608.
- having standard operating pressures up to 4,000 psig.
- using potable water systems with stainless steel or composite housings.
Solenoid, Fuel, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Valves for Aerospace: Aerospace Controls manufacturers a wide range of valves for fuel and hydraulic fluid shutoff and control, potable water applications, and various pneumatic controls.
The fuel valves are typically designed to meet the requirements of MIL-V-8608 but are custom engineered for specific customer applications. Typical operating pressures range up to 120 psig however higher pressures are readily achievable with ITT Aerospace development. Standard available designs are ball, butterfly, gate, and plug in sizes ranging from 1/2 inch to over 4 inches. Modular designs allow for tailoring of fluid connections as specified by customer requirements.
Hydraulic shutoff and control valves feature operating pressures typically in the range of 4,000 psig yet higher pressures are readily attainable.. These designs use roller bearing supported rotors with metal seats for maximum durability or composite seats where tight shutoff is essential. Designs incorporating ports per MS33649 for application flexibility and accommodating line sizes up to 1 inch are available.
The potable water valves are made of FDA-approved materials and construction . Stainless steel materials are standard but composite construction is available where minimum weight is required. An operating pressure of 45 psig is standard. Ball and plug designs insure maximum performance with minimum weight and can withstand freezing water without performance degradation. Modular designs allow for tailoring of fluid connections to meet specific customer requirements.
